In yoga the heart lotus holds special meaning. In yoga practice, the heart can be visualized as a lotus flower unfolding.  And like a lotus contracting and expanding according to shifts in light, our spiritual hearts awaken through yoga, chanting, and meditation. In this way, the heart lotus becomes a gateway to virtue, wisdom, and bliss.
